Luca

The team behind the Clove Club, one of London’s most renowned and critically-acclaimed restaurants, second restaurant...an Italian restaurant using British produce.

Luca serves modern Italian food, using British ingredients, reflecting a love of seasonal British produce, but through an Italian lens using 'contemporary cooking inspired by Italy'. It is a different concept from the Clove Club, focusing on snacks, sharing plates and stirred cocktails.

The Michelin-starred restaurant looks to observe the established and authentic traditions of Italian food - by Head Chef Robert Chambers (previously of The Square, Locanda Locatelli and The Ledbury) - but breaking the rules slightly - with a menu including spaghettini with Morecambe bay shrimps and mace butter, rump of Angus beef stuffed with pancetta and ravioli of grouse with potato and whisky sauce.

The restaurant is designed by the award-winning Alexander Waterworth Interiors and inspired by 1950s Italy, featuring a sage and blue colour palette accented with marble and brass. The main restaurant sits 60 with a semi-open kitchen and floor to ceiling glass walls overlooking an outdoor courtyard. It also features a pasta-making room where guests can watch pasta being made by day, and transforming into a private dining room.

There is also a seperate bar, which is open all-day (from 8am) serving espressos to signature cocktails featuring vermouths, amaros and home-made Limoncello and Nocino. Luca is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday. On Sundays they are open for a long lunch running from midday to 5pm.
