California-inspired restaurant in Notting Hill...

Pomona’s, a  120 cover Californian inspired, all-day restaurant and bar opened in the heart of Notting Hill at the impressive Commander building. Sundae Design Studio is responsible for the stunning interior of Pomona’s, taking inspiration from David Hockney’s 1970’s Malibu period. There is also a beautiful conservatory as well as a garden.

Head honcho and Executive Chef Gareth Sanderson formerly at Hampshire’s The Thomas Lord, Druskos Namai Salt House (one of Vilnius’s top restaurants) and latterly at Le Butcher Group returns from the Baltics to London after extensively travelling America’s West Coast, including LA and San Francisco researching dishes for his menu at Pomona’s.

Dishes on the menu includes the likes of steak tartar, shredded kimchi and lardo toast whilst on the all-day menu think sweet potato toast, avocado, labneh, lime and cilantro gremolata, house pastrami cured gravadlax bagels with herbed cream cheese and coconut Labneh.

The American bar at Pomona’s is headed up by Kestutis Stirba formerly Head Bartender at Gordon Ramsey Restaurants, The Sanderson Hotel and The Electric, so expect a cutting-edge list of West Coast inspired drinks.

Signature Dishes

Steak tartar, shredded kimchi and lardo toast, Kumototo/Blue Point oysters, cocktail sauce, horseradish, mignonette, crispy pork belly, mojo de ajo, smoked polenta and winter leaf salad and caramel croissant and prune pie with crème Anglais.
