Jean-Georges Vongerichten at The Connaught

Overlooking fashionable Mount Street in the heart of Mayfair, the restaurant offers all-hours, informal gourmet dining in a relaxed, contemporary neighbourhood setting.

The eponymous restaurant is located at the front of the hotel with its sweeping views over Mount Street. The eclectic, imaginative menus are inspired both by Jean-Georges’ experiences of the Far East and his signature use of South-east Asian flavours, whilst also featuring his distinctive take on British and Connaught classics, from fish and chips to traditional afternoon tea, influenced by his earlier working life in London.

Sourcing the best of British ingredients, the menus also reflect the simple farm-to-table, fresh-from-the-market approach long pioneered by Jean-Georges, and found at his restaurant at The Mark and ABC Kitchen in New York. Interior architect John Heah has transformed our distinguished dining room into a contemporary neighbourhood restaurant.

This move marks a return to the Maybourne Hotel Group fold for Vongerichten, who previously operated the legendary Vong restaurant at The Berkeley which closed at the end of 2002. Vongerichten currently has a constellation of three and four star restaurants worldwide and operates some of New York’s leading restaurants including the eponymous Jean-Georges, ABC Kitchen and The Mercer Kitchen.
