Doing things a bit differently, the Ruya brunch isn't just on Fridays or Saturdays, but on both days! The Friday brunch is geared towards the party crowd, with live music on offer, while Saturdays are all about Turkish-style family dining. Whichever day you go, you will be treated to an endless array of contemporary Anatolian dishes - the generosity another emblem of traditional Turkish hospitality.
Get started with a buffet of cold starters (including fresh oysters), then have freshly made hot dishes from live cooking stations brought to the table - from succulent kababs and hot-off-the-oven sides (Turkish flatbreads) to signature items such as Kuymak, a grits-like cheese and corn regional delicacy. The dessert offerings - which includes the creative 'Stamboul' (white chocolate and yoghurt cream with strawberry and basil sorbet), and Anatolian rice pudding - are not to be missed. Additional dishes for brunch include eggs to order (the slow-cooked eggs with roasted garlic yoghurt is divine).
Wash it all down with some of their creative cocktails inspired by the flavours of Turkey, such as Ottoman Old Fashioned, while drinking in the Dubai Marina views, and you'll have the recipe for one of the loveliest brunch experiences in town.
Prices start from AED 225 (soft drinks); AED 425 with house beverages and select cocktails; and AED 525 and 625 respectively for Italian and French bubbly inclusions.
