The spate of new Turkish restaurants in Dubai is showing no signs of letting up, with Besh, tucked away at the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates now joining the fray - alongside Ruya and Gunaydin.
Besh offers a modern slice of Istanbul, with plenty of traditional ceramics, geometric patterns, and fresh splashes of turquoise making an appearance in the décor. The menu, from Turkish head chef Sait Koyuncu, features all the usual suspects, from mezze items to kebabs and grills, best accompanied by freshly baked pides (flatbreads) from the domed oven. Traditional desserts such as kunefe, baklava, and rice pudding complete the mix.
Besh is open for lunch and dinner.
