Set within Lasscos' (London Architectural Salvage and Supply Company) old warehouse (formerly Ropewalk Bar & Diner), their latest culinary association offers a taste of the past - reminiscent of Southwark's bygone days of factories and workshops. The fixed price (£25-30) menus are available (from 6pm) from Wednesday to Saturday. Expect modern European cuisine comprised of starters such as 'Rye Bay scallops with black cabbage and almond' or 'duck prosciutto with blood orange' and mains such as 'Sussex boar braised in sherry' or 'Cornish Lemon sole accompanied by dukkah crab croquettes'.
Old friends, chef James Knox and bar manager Jerome Slesinski (both former graduates of the acclaimed Soho Coal Vaults), place an emphasis on "quality ingredients" whilst creating an atmosphere that is "relaxed and fun". Do take advantage of the speciality cocktails on offer as well craft beers and natural wines.
