Gordon made his name (and reputation) when (in 1993) he became Head Chef of Aubergine in London, which was awarded two Michelin stars within just three years. Now he has returned to helm the 60-cover restaurant (at 11 Park Walk, SW10) after having recently bought the premises. The restaurant has now opened as a maze Grill. Inspired by the grill rooms of Manhattan, the 60-cover restaurant offers the concept’s signature rare breed steaks (and triple-seared wagyu), made-to-order contemporary sushi and sashimi dishes and poultry from the Josper grill.
Elegant interiors include herringbone wood flooring, copper and brass lighting and subtle exposed brick with a curated selection of artwork from the local Little Black Gallery adorning the walls. As the weather warms up, see and be seen by grabbing a pavement table under the restaurant’s awning.
