As U stroll into NaiYaRa, located in Sunset Harbour - one of South Beach’s most popular areas - you are transported into Chef Bee’s Thai land of bold flavors, beautiful food presentation, attentive service and a warm, but modern atmosphere with clean lines.
After a little more than a year in business, NaiYaRa, named after Chef Bee’s daughter and also meaning “peaceful and calm”, has recently launched its brunch menu and trust us, it’s going to gift U one of the best food comas in town.
No brunch would be complete without enjoying a cocktail first. The two front-runners are the 'Bel Li Ni' - a take on the traditional bellini – but served with Rothman and Winter Orchard peach liqueur and fresh peach juice. At times, bellinis become too overpowered with the peach flavor, but not here - the drink boasts a perfect combination. The second choice is the 'Slow Boat' with gin, pomegranate, lemon and sparkling water. On a warm Miami day, this will leave U refreshed and ready to begin your brunch journey.
The menu is separated into snacks, lighter fare and larger dishes.
As part of the lighter fare, the restaurant offers a very on trend dish – the poké with salmon, seaweed salad, cucumber, avocado and honey kimchee. It's a delightfully light way to start your brunch.
As a snack, U can’t miss out on the fried duck and biscuits. The biscuits are light and fluffy whilst the duck is crispy with a spicy tamarind sauce that is flavorful, but not too hot. Plus the ginger and pickles give it an incredible crunch. Another snack to enjoy is the son-in-law eggs - fried hard-boiled eggs with chicken may sound strange, yet the flavor is anything but that. The eggs come cut in half with ground chicken and crispy shallots on top.
If U still have room, try the Korean short ribs & egg or the steak and egg bánh mì sandwich bursting with savory steak, potato sticks, homemade pickles and Sriracha mayonnaise.
Finish off this delectable experience with sweet roti, or flatbread, layered with condensed milk and coconut ice cream. It's a light dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Sunday Funday just got a little tastier.
