Downtown Toko's brand new Friday brunch provides a parade of signature dishes served sharing style, and a fresh, relaxed vibe.

The recently reopened restaurant (now divorced from Toko Sydney, an outpost of which it had originally opened as) oozes a chic yet chilled personality, with its contemporary decor - incorporating everything from trendy lightbulbs to traditional Japanese accents - and leafy outdoor 'garden'. 

The Garden Brunch is one of the best ways to enjoy the inviting space (although, given the warming weather, and the fact that there's no alcohol allowed outside, the eclectic indoors might be the better choice)! Wherever you sit, the smart staff will bring out delicious sharing-style dish after dish, from sushi, salmon sashimi salad with yuzu truffle dressing, and dim sum, to Peking duck salad, chicken cashew, and a dessert platter comprising traditional flavours such as mochi ice cream. House beverages and a selection of (excellent) cocktails help wash down all the gluttony. But, it's a controlled sort of indulgence, at the end of which you leave feeling satiated, not overdone! 

Prices are AED 190 per person with soft drinks and AED 325 with house beverages including bubbly.
