The latest concept from Bulldozer Group (of Novikov fame) Eshak dares to put a new spin on Middle Eastern cuisine in a city that you might say is saturated. Steering away from the cliches, the restaurant's 'Choyhona' concept is inspired by the Silk Route, with the menu fusing authentic Uzbek and European influences into traditional Oriental flavours. Highlights include Daily Pilafs; Mantas; Khachapuris; Baklava; Chak-Chak and Assal Cake.
The home-style feel extends from the food to the design, which creates a homely tea room-style ambience complete with eclectic art and memorabilia and traditional tapestries. An outdoor terrace offering sweeping city views - perfect for signature tea infusions and sheesha - complements the interiors.
