The Arabic banquet this desert restaurant is known for remains as lavish as ever, with a staggering array of pan-Arabian delicacies including everything from Emirati, Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese and Palestinian, to Jordanian, Iraqi, Moroccan and Iranian cuisines, on offer. All freshly prepared from multiple live cooking stations (so there's minimal food wastage) laid out across the meandering desert village-style area, you'll find hot and cold mezzes, salads, succulent kebabs, shawarmas, and freshly baked bread, plus traditional curries and the Emirati festive must-have, lamb ouzi. The dessert selection requires a room of its own, with a wide range of Arabic sweets, fruits, and an interactive Turkish ice cream station serving up sweet temptations.
All this in an air-conditioned space, adapting to the hot Dubai summer, with entertainment from an Oud performer and live camel show, plus, shisha. There's also a heritage village on-site offering an insight into Bedouin lives and traditional crafts.
Iftar is priced at AED 250 per person (AED 270 on weekends), and the Al Hadheerah air-conditioned tent will be operational through the summer.
