Asterid by Ray Garcia at Walt Disney Concert Hall

The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall houses the Broken Spanish’s chef latest concept restaurant, dishing up modern American fare.

The award-winning Ray Garcia, who draws his culinary inspiration from the Los Angeles's rich culture, Southern California's produce, and his classic training take overs the Patina restaurant set within the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall building - designed by Frank Gehry. The newly redesigned space and natural oak dining room features dim lighting with black minimalist chairs and an expanded wraparound outdoor dining space and a new Music Center-specific menu that draws on the city’s highly diverse food culture.

Hightlights include beef tenderloin tartare with black truffles, Kaluga caviar, crème fraiche and focaccia; octopus-roll with Aleppo yogurt and pickled cabbage slaw and lamb shank alongside charred eggplant puree, warm flatbread and pickled chiles.

Signature Dishes

New England-style octopus roll with Aleppo yogurt and pickled cabbage slaw; cashew muhammara with ancho chiles, pomegranate, feta, and house made flatbread; red carnaroli risotto with beets, creme fraiche; lamb shank with chile Japones, charred eggplant puree, pickled cabbage, and flatbread and dill and the lemon tart with whipped custard for dessert.

Signature Drinks

NA spritz made with house-made Italian bitters, sparkling hop water, grapefruit, orange and mint; vodka & Chile with carrot juice, green apple juice, orange juice, ginger and chiles and mezcal & rice with lime juice, toasted rice, kumquat vermouth and cacao.
