Refined Mexican cuisine comes to DIFC with Peyote, taking over the space which formerly housed Marco Pierre White's Wheeler's.

Named after a native Mexican Cactus, Peyote has already been making waves in London, and now brings a touch of contemporary sophistication to the city's Mexican restaurant scene.

The sleek, slick design - created by Mexican architect Javier Sordo Madaleno Bringas - incorporates subtle nods to the brand's Mexican lineage, with many of the fine materials brought in straight from Mexico, and creations of Mexican artisans showcased. 

Executive Chef Eduardo Garcia (of Maximo Bistrot, one of Latin America’s top 50 restaurants) has curated a concise menu of some of Mexico’s best flavours and authentic ingredients, which Dubai head chef Alexander Stumpf (ex-Zuma) executes flawlessly. From Ensaladas, Crudos, and Ceviche, to Moles and Maza, plus the eclectic selection of salsas, the menu effortlessly straddles the traditional with modern innovation. Completing the authentic touch is the extensive selection of tequilas and mezcals, plus craft cocktails and Latin American wine. 

Peyote is open for lunch and dinner.
