Via Emilia 9

Debut of the summer menu

Via Emilia 9 takes you back to the land of homemade pasta and their new summer menu is molto bene!

As U enter the restaurant located on 15th street in Miami Beach U are greeted with a welcoming and savory scent.

Their specials added to the summer menu include cannelloni alle verdure (cannelloni with fresh vegetables), tagliatelle carciofi e limone (tagliatelle with artichokes and lemon), and Florentina straccetti di pollo con carciofi (chicken with artichokes).

Other pastas they make inhouse are tortellini, lasagna, tagliatelle, gnocchi and ravioli. They are famous for their tortellini en brodo, or broth, that resembles a soup but with pasta that's stuffed with prosciutto, Parmesan, mozzarella and pork. The ravioli stuffed with spinach and cheese is another good option but the capellachi di zucca is the winner - pasta stuffed with sweet pumpkin in a hearty Bolognese sauce.

Named after the merchant road in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, Via Emilia 9 prides itself on authentic and fresh ingredients - importing everything weekly from Italy (except for fresh fruits, vegetables, flour and eggs). Each city in the region is well known for a specific specialty including tortellini, lasagna, proscuitto or balsamic vinegar, to name a few. To honor this special region, the restaurant only serves dishes from Emilia-Romagna.
