A traditional Italian trattoria in Downtown Dubai offering an authentic taste of Italy - expect quick, easy, fresh flavours in a relaxed environment.

The latest concept from Gates Hospitality - who can do no wrong in our eyes when it comes to Dubai restaurants! - with acclaimed chef Maxime le Van (you might remember him from Grosvenor House, and Boca) at the helm, Via Veneto Osteria e Cucina comes with an impeccable pedigree. 

Designed to be an all-day destination - with a trendy, modern yet natural environment featuring an open kitchen - it segues perfectly from neighbourhood breakfast spot to the home of laid-back lunches (the alfresco terrace is just waiting for the cooler months to become the go-to!), and lively dinner and drinks (it will be a licensed venue from August onwards) venue.
Chef Le Van has extensively researched recipes from Rome, Naples, and Milan to curate two separate menus to suit a broad range of tastes. Highlights include classic breakfast specialties like Uova al Purgatorio (pan cooked eggs in a tomato & pepper sauce); Bruschetta al Salmone (grilled sourdough bread served with crushed avocado) and Waffle all’ Anatra (savoury waffle topped with duck confit, caramalised apple mostarda, fried egg and bacon); and chef's specials such as Polpo Alla Griglia (marinated grilled octopus, potato with sweet pepper) and Tagliata Di Manzo (chargrilled flank steak with charred onions and grilled lettuce). A traditional wood-fired oven will serve up pizzas, and handmade pastas will also be on offer.
