Heads up - the world's first permanent beach club from this iconic brand is set to open in Abu Dhabi later this year.

Every now and then we run stories from the capital - news that we think merit the 60 minutes or so drive from Dubai. And this, a world first, definitely fits the bill! 

Buddha-Bar Beach has popped up as a seasonal venue in the beaches of Baku and Mykonos previously, but this is set to be its first permanent home. To be located in the The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, the day-to-night destination will offer fine dining and music, amidst contemporary design and luxe beach and pool facilities. 

Expect Japanese, Thai, and Pan-Asian flavors blended with Mediterranean in the food, masterfully mixed cocktails, a regular calendar of events, from nightly entertainment to culinary activities, and of course signature Buddha Bar music and DJs, to come together to create an unmistakable experience.
