Another authentic Portuguese restaurant in London with Leandro Carreira (late of Mugaritz, Viajante, Lyle’s and his own much-lauded pop-up at Climpson’s Arch) own permanent site. He has worked at some of the world’s best restaurants and cooked alongside luminary chefs like Nuno Mendes and James Lowe. The restaurant is split into two parts - an upscale 70-seater a la carte restaurant open for lunch and dinner and a more informal no-reservations, 30-seater all-day wine bar for smaller plates and snacks.
Londrino embraces Carreira’s heritage and the influence of his adopted home city – which go far beyond the nod in the name - "observing the flavours, traditions and ingredients from his native Portugal but cooked and explored through the lens of a chef who now calls London his home." The wine list is focused on the Iberian Peninsula, but also features natural and classic varieties from across Europe.
