Santo Remedio

Critically acclaimed Mexican restaurant and bar Santo Remedio makes a return to London with this site in London Bridge.

When Santo Remedio opened in Shoreditch in 2016, it was the first of the new wave Mexican openings to hit London and considered by many to be one of the most authentic and exciting. Founders Edson and Natalie continued to develop their concept with a series of pop-ups and collaborations before setting up shop in London Bridge.

The 90-cover authentic Cantina & Comedor is set over two floors with interiors which reflect the owners' heritage and include a number of design features hand-picked from recent trips to Mexico City, Merida and Oaxaca.

The ground floor Cantina features a custom built bar reminiscent of the cantinas of Mexico City and focuses on Tequila and Mezcal cocktails alongside a range of tacos and snacks (including their signature guacamole with grasshoppers). The upstairs Comedor, a traditional Mexican dining room, dishes up their best-loved tacos alongside regional Mexican specialties.
