Staking a claim on the site (on Yeoman’s Row) formerly occupied by Frankie’s Bar & Grill – you can expect a glamorously Art Deco interior designed (subterranean) dining room with 1903s inspired décor and room for 130 dinners (with an additional 25 seats in the bar). The menu features the group’s most popular, signature dishes (including steaks from Ginger Pig) alongside some new Asian influenced seafood and shellfish dishes, such as Singapore-style Devilled Lobster, raw Citrus Scallops with Chilli & Ginger and a Lobster Roll with Sriracha & Yuzu.
Steak night, full-on feasting
The most popular tables include the semi circular booths on the left side of the dining room, seating up to 5 people and the booths for 2 to 4 people on the right hand side as well.
Opt for the Devilled Singapore-style Brixham Lobster and also the Fruit de Mer for two to share: steamed shellfish with lemon and olive oil (sourced from around the British coast along with wild deep-water Spainsh prawns). Otherwise the rib-eye is Hawksmoor's most popular steak cut.
Emmerich Knoll, ‘Kellerberg’ Riesling Smaragd, Wachau, Austria 2010
A new bar menu has been launched featuring burgers (including a pork and squid one), lobster rolls and a steak sarnie with chargrilled rib-eye, anchovy hollandaise, watercress and fresh horseradish.
