A new spot to get your fix of fresh, home-style baked treats has opened at Bay Square.

Epitomising the hearty, wholesome food that we associate with family kitchens, this cosy new café serves up flaky pasties, decadent galettes, fluffy pancakes, and a range of other freshly baked warm treats, all with a tinge of nostalgia. There's also lunch-perfect soups, salads, and sandwiches (made with artisan bread, naturally) on offer, as well as a selection of comforting larger dishes for those who want to linger longer - think baby chicken stuffed with freekeh; slow braised lamb shank served with garlic mash; and vegetable lasagna. You can wash it all down with locally roasted single-origin coffees from RAW. 

A gourmet kids menu with dishes such as mac and cheese bake; baked garlic parmesan chicken tenders; and even jarred toddler food such as avocado and banana puree; or kiwi, apple and zucchini puree, makes this the perfect family spot. And if the food doesn't convince you to step inside, the inviting décor with warm woods and pastel and white tones, definitely will! 

A subsidiary of Al Tamimi Investments, this is the second outlet of Eat (they have another branch at JLT) and is open from 7am-7pm from Saturday-Thursday.
