Designed by the owners themselves, guests of Chez Chow (named after their dog) can expect to find an array of random knick-knacks and an eclectic mish-mash of design features and vintage and antique market finds creating a sophisticated yet laid-back Mayfair hangout.
Expect a small but exacting bar snack menu and well made cocktails (of classics and some new intersting inventions) with an Asian inspired slant. The dimly lit space offers an art deco feel with the comfiest of couches, low-slung armchairs and snug with discreet corners to create an intimate atmosphere.
After work drinks, killer cocktails, puppy love
The couches opposite the retro gramphone has the advantage of being right in the middle of the action with space for a bigger group.
Teddy’s favourite treats. The Popcorn Shrimp, coated in light tempura and served with sriracha spiced mayonnaise is a moreish hit. The Chow’s Asian Pork Belly Sliders with kimchee, pickled cucumber and crackling served on a brioche bun. Baby back ribs with sticky soy and honey glaze.
Popcorn Sazerac with popcorn infused bourbon served on the rocks with a splash of agave syrup. The menu also features an extensive list of gins, whisky’s, ryes, sakes, rums, bourbons, wines and champagnes.
