New Restaurant

Mediterranean cuisine is coming to the Gables.

Acclaimed Miami Chef Alfredo Alvarez, is bringing his signature Mediterranean cuisine back to where it all began in Coral Gables with a new concept inspired by his legendary neighborhood hit, Giacosa. His new venture, M House by Giacosa, is slated to open this winter, at the intersection of Le Jeune and Valencia.

M House by Giacosa will center its kitchen around the unique flavors and textures produced by a Josper charcoal oven. Dishes will be inspired by the coastal fare of Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece, where the highest quality ingredients are cooked to perfection utilizing curated sea salts, olive oils and herbs. Wild-caught Mediterranean fish will be flown in fresh weekly, and the menu will also feature house-made pastas and a wide selection of crudos.

The space will be designed by renowned New York-based fashion designer, Angel Sanchez of Sanchez+Coleman. With vibrant accents of fern green, the casual atmosphere will bring the outdoors in with an “urban meets tropical” design. M House by Giacosa will feature both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar and lounge area.
