Thomas Keller's first Dubai venture features signature breads and pastries, in addition to especially-for-Dubai treats .

Located at The Beach in Jumeirah Beach Residence, Bouchon Bakery brings the legendary chef's signature take on an authentic French boulangerie to Dubai.

While the brand DNA is the same as its popular counterparts stateside, which means there is a tempting array of made-from-scratch artisanal breads, pastries, tarts, macarons and other Viennoiserie items on offer, the Dubai outpost is more of an elegant sit-down cafe, rather than a grab-and-go bakery. The interiors, by Adam Tihany no less, feature a distinctive European grand cafe-style decor with colonnaded walls, retro chandeliers, leather banquettes, and bistro chairs; leafy planters add a tropical touch giving the venue a sense of place. 

Also adding a local touch are the especially-for-Dubai treats - which includes a mango eclair and a pistachio macaron - while his signature bakes (such as the Oh-oh cake, a concoction of hard chocolate cylinder encasing a soft sponge and light-as-air cream) are available of course. The menu also includes fresh salads, sandwiches, and quiches, and the exclusive Thomas Keller espresso blend from Equator coffees.
