The Baptist Grill at L'Oscar

A Jacques Garcia-designed restaurant in a luxury £40 million hotel situated in central Holborn.

The former Grade II listed Baptist church in Holborn has been transformed into London's most decadent and ornate boutique hotel and restaurant, with interiors by world-leading décorateur, Jacques Garcia (pictured), the French designer behind Hôtel Costes in Paris, La Mamounia in Marrakech, NYC's NoMad (also coming soon to London) and Hotel Vagabond in Singapore. Expect extravagant, theatrical interiors lavishly decorated in this turn-of-the-century architectural gem.

The octagonal (double-height) former chapel is a restaurant and bar called The Baptist Grill, where chef Tony Fleming – who earned a Michelin star for The Angler in Moorgate’s South Place Hotel is dishing up a menu which focuses on using seasonal British ingredients, and a theatrical take on the traditional grill - with a classic table-side Gueridon service.
