Rome's favourite 'pizza by the slice' concept has landed in the Middle East and is now open at La Mer.
The casual Roman pizzeria, founded by Domenico Giovannini, has hundreds of outlets across Italy, but the first Dubai outlet is perfectly placed at the hip new beachfront development by Meraas, La Mer Dubai.
Specialising in pizza ‘al taglio’ (by the slice) and also by weight, Alice - which is pronounced Ah-LEE-cheh - uses a patented technique which gives the dough a 48-hour rise with a limited amount of yeast, to make for a light crust. With over 20 different authentic Italian recipes, there is be plenty of pizza goodness to go around - and you'll probably want more than one slice of each!
