New Conrad Restaurant

Terra Mare opens at the luxe oceanfront property.

Upon entering the Conrad Fort Lauderdale's Terra Mare, a spectacular ocean view welcomes U. The newest addition's chic tropical decor instantly creates a relaxed yet sophisticated ambiance perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.

As its name suggests, the restaurant boasts a variety of land and sea options focused on ingredients sourced from local butchers and farmers. On its dinner menu a unique starter is the shishito peppers appetizer with lemon saffron crème fraîche. A starter from the sea is the tender and delicious grilled octopus with smoked white bean puree. There are several entrees to choose from including a surprising chicken tagine, spiced duck breast and dry aged strip. Our favorite is the roasted sea bass with miso glaze and baby bok choy served on forbidden rice.

Terra Mare encourages diners to share dishes but rather than small tapas plates it offers full size sharing to highlight a different type of communal dining experience.

A meal wouldn't be complete without a craft cocktail featuring cold-press juices made in-house or the perfect glass of wine. Refreshing concoctions include the Triple B with Bulleit bourbon, lemon, basil, and blackberries; the Beet It with Tito’s vodka, beet, pear, apple, egg white, and house ginger syrup; and the spicy Jessica Rabbit made with Avion tequila, combier, carrot, fresh orange juice, lime, cilantro, and jalapeño. Additionally, a vast selection of recognizable boutique wines are available by the bottle or by the glass.
