The menu sees Head Chef Masha recreate many of Lina Stores’ classics alongside lesser-known regional specialties and family recipes handed down through generations. Expect organic, ingredient led approach with authentic ingredients that Lina Stores has become so synonymous with over the years.
Pasta is hand-made every day at the 18 Brewer Street deli (as it has been since 1944) using Italian flour and fresh eggs. The prosciutti, cheeses and antipasti that Lina Stores has become so famous for over the years, are also available as starters alongside a small selection of carefully sourced Italian wines, classic Italian cocktails and desserts.
The interiors of Lina Stores have been influenced by the restaurants and cafés of mid-century Italy. The fifty-one-seat restaurant, set over two floors, is evocative of the original Lina Stores deli (which opened nearly 75 years ago) - and features an open kitchen surrounded by an intimate twelve-seat bar.
Authentic Italian produce
Tortellini in brodo, Fusi all 'Arrabiata; spaghetti chitarra with baby clams and bottarga; gnocchi stuffed with fresh ricotta and white truffle; farfalle with 'Nduja and wild fennel and pappardelle with slow cooked rabbit ragu.
Lina Stores takes its name from the original founder "Lina", a formidable lady from Genova who established the delicatessen in the 1940s.
