We may just have uncovered the city's best kept secret! Tucked away at the far end of the Jebel Ali Village area (yes, the one that was rumoured to have been taken down years ago), JARC is now home to several dining concepts - all offering a relaxed setting and affordable prices - including this.
A Spanish restaurant and bar from Houston Texas, Andalucia serves up everything we love about Spain - a selection of tapas, including classic favourites such as patatas bravas; roasted Padron peppers with Maldon salt; and prawns in garlic and olive oil; plus some interesting variations such as avocado hummus, and Latin American-influenced specialties like ceviche and nachos. You can wash it all down with a range of sangria options. The Latino theme is carried through in the décor too - which features accents such as Spanish ceramic tile table inlays - and the entertainment, which is a big part of the experience; an energetic live band performing from a large raised stage turn the venue into a lively Latino-style party every night. A large outdoor area looking on to the club's piazza provide the perfect alfresco setting.
Andalucia makes up a complement of restaurants and bars that are housed in the club, which, apart from club facilities such as tennis, fitness centre, swimming pool et al, is also home to The Clubhouse, a relaxed lounge with expansive terrace where a crowd-pleasing pub grub menu, live music, and BBQ nights make it a popular hotspot; The Ship's Wheel, the British pub from the old Jebel Ali club which has been transplanted into the new complex, complete with its pool table and vintage design elements intact; Seafood Kitchen restaurant; and Italian eatery C House Milano. A licensed movie theatre with culinary concept from celebrity chef Guy Fieri is also in the pipeline.
