Leroy

A Parisian-inspired 'cave' from the owners of Hackney's Michelin-starred Ellory.

On the former site of Edwin's Wine Bar, Sommeliers Jack Lewens and Ed Thaw have created a more laid back venture with the feel of a “buzzy, fun, Parisian bistro”. As at Ellory the food is simple, balanced and ingredient-led with snacks, small plates, cheese, charcuterie and larger sharing cuts on offer - overseen by head chef Sam Kamienko who is drawing from his time in Paris' Le Verre Volé.

The kitchen has been opened up and brought into the 45 cover dining room with bar seating overlooking the kitchen and bar area. Old bistro chairs from France mix with modern brass edged table and a marble bar. The triangular space is light and bright in the day and cosy at night.

The 100 bin wine list is drawn from their favourite producers from around the world and they are also serving their own Vermouth as well as wines from Vigneti Tardis - a winemaking project in Campania with Michael Sager, Jackson Boxer and Stevie Parle.
