The Confidante Miami Beach is offering a brand new experience for locals and visitors - a deep sea fishing excursion with Chef Richard Hales.
Aboard Therapy IV Charters’ 58 foot sport fisherman boat, the four-hour fishing expedition will take U and four friends along with Chef Hales, celebrated South Florida chef and restaurateur of Miami’s Sakaya Kitchen, Blackbrick, Dim Ssäm à gogo and the hotel’s Bird & Bone restaurant, out into the Atlantic in search of tuna, blue marlin, mahi-mahi and grouper.
At the end of the day, Chef Hales will give U a dockside demo on how to filet the fish before your group heads back to the hotel for dinner at Bird & Bone. The caught fish will be broiled, grilled, fried or baked based on your preference and ingredients involved will depend on the season. Beverages and side dishes such as the sweet potato mash with maple bourbon butter, crispy Brussels sprouts with pepper relish, or creamed wild mushrooms are available a la carte.
The fun fishing expedition will run U a mere $1,700.
