And it is celebrating in style with founding family member Mauro Maccioni flying in from New York to join in the fun.
All through April, the restaurant is serving up a special birthday set menu dinner, but between April 2-4, you can be joined by the charismatic Maccioni himself, regaling diners with the back-stories of this famed NYC brand. The set menu dinners, which feature signature dishes from the menu (that steak tartare though...) are available in three different options - four courses for AED 401; five for AED 501, and six for AED 601, all including fine French wine pairings.
Plus, anyone with an April birthday dining at the restaurant throughout April can get a discount equal to their age (valid up to parties of four). Diners can also participate in a social media competition to be in with a chance to win a trip to the Big Apple, to celebrate the original venue's 40th birthday.
