Billed as the world’s first sustainable 'seaborne food delivery vehicle', Salt Bay is also the world’s first sustainable floating drive-thru serving up “creative burgers,” (with the potential to expand to pizzas and desserts) either delivered by jet ski or with orders accepted directly from smaller craft. Running on electrical propulsion, the pod also has a built-in system enabling it to collect any waste wrappers or trash from the sea - the concept is from award-winning architect Ahmed Youssef, founder of Aquatic Architects Design Studio. Salt Bay is situated in Jumeirah and covers areas like Al Sufouh and Kite Beach.
