An edgy New York cocktail bar focused on the craft cocktail experience with a style evoking the feel of a California, bodega-style liquor store.

The brainchild of the AvroKO also behind Saxon + Parole, and plenty more), Genuine Liquorette is inspired by California liquor stores and featuring a multi-faceted craft beverage program and fast-fine eatery. 

The New York original is inspired by the liquor stores along the Californian coast. The 34-seater bar with a black-and-white checkered tiled floor has the feeling of stepping inside an off licence with its rows of spirits glowing under neon lights.

Classic cocktails are served in cans of San Pellegrino Pompelmo, Goslings ginger beer and Dole pineapple juice with upturned Malibu, Tanqueray and Zacapa miniatures sticking out of them and fruit garnishes balancing on the rim. The venue also features self-service beer and wine fridges or help yourselve to any of the spirits that line the subterranean bar’s walls on a ‘charge per ounce’ basis.
