The restaurant is housed across two floors with an additional 8 seats on an outdoor terrace in Islington. Both floors have a minimal, studio-like interiors, dotted with quirky features from the original Victorian building alongside contemporary artwork from local artists.
The menu focuses primarily on plates served in a sharing style for lunch and dinner, with the offering including the option of a five or eight-course tasting menu (both available as vegetarian) - showcasing his multi-faceted heritage and his Michelin-starred restaurant experience - having worked at The Ledbury and The Harwood Arms). Open daily, from 11am to 11pm.

Raw Orkney scallops with buttermilk whey, red meat radish, green apple & charcoal; potato spaghetti with cured egg yolk, truffle & burnt butter cream and Jerk-spiced monkfish with iceberg lettuce, watermelon & coriander.
The wine selection focuses on organic bottles sourced from all over the world. The cocktail offering features house classics such as the 1251 Negroni with house-made vermouth infused with sweet cicely foraged from Kent, as well as the 1251 Bloody Mary Martini.
For groups, James serves his signature Goat Sharing Board with a selection of cuts of goat served alongside accompaniments including Black Eyed Pea Dahl and Scotch Bonnet Jam.
