Self taught chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, together with his brother Jonray, transformed their parents’ local Italian trattoria into one of the most cutting-edge restaurants in the country. Peter is also behind two more casual restaurants reflecting his family’s food heritage: Pi Shop pizzeria, and Paco Tapas, named in honour of his father, who grew up in Seville.
Casamia is well renowned for their seasonally inspired inventive yet simple tasting menus - using complex combinations inspired by the seasons and based on the best ingredients available.
Peter Sanchez-Iglesias is working under Creative Director of Food and Culture - Angela Dimayuga - the creative chef best known for her stint as executive chef at Mission Chinese New York. Chef of the Year (at the Young British Foodies awards 2015) Adam Rawson, left British-Peruvian restaurant Pachamama and is in charge at the restaurant the ground floor restaurant at the hugely anticpated Standard hotel.
