This branch of the informal oyster and seafood dining experience is located on the former site of La Bouchée, on Old Brompton Road, and features a menu of the finest sourced and cultivated oysters and fruits-de-mer alongside a regularly changing of seasonal British dishes (with French influences) and a 'specials' board, led by head chef Philip Coulter (previously of Racine).
Stylish interiors (designed by Brady Williams) take inspiration from the laid-back oyster house culture of their award-winning Borough restaurant and a classic Parisian seafood bistro, which also include an intimate private dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a fireplace.
A first for the brother-in-law founders is the addition of its own independent bar - The Mermaid (accessible from the street) - where you can sip from carefully selected wines and cocktails whilst devouring ‘pound a pop’ oysters (during daily happy hours), cultivated from their own Duchy Oyster Farm.
