Traymore by Michael Schwartz

Having made his name at a host of South Beach restaurants, James Beard award winner, Michael Schwartz returns to the shore with this restaurant at the COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach.

Schwartz is debuting this new concept inside the hotel's former Traymore Restaurant & Gin Bar space in the Art Deco luxury design hotel, which revolves around "food you can feel good about eating". Expect deliciious healthy yet flavourful cooking with Asian nuances.

There's a Raw Bar (for healthy dishes such as royal red shrimp marinated in coconut milk & lime) and a Market Table - showcasing fresh meat, fish and vegetable dishes from beef carpaccio with heart of palm, to main dishes such as wok-charred wild salmon four-sprout salad and steamed whole local snapper with shiitake & ginger broth.

Schwartz owns and runs some of South Florida’s favorite spots, including Michael’s Genuine, Brickell’s Fi’lia and Amara at Paraiso in Edgewater. Meyer Davis Studio - designers behind Amara at Paraiso have refreshed the space, "mixing art deco and industrial elements" - with a Zen vibe. Opt for one of the tables outside.
