The two-floor modern American restaurant - with two bars - takes over the space which used to house Swine Southern Table & Bar. Ad Lib brings an elevated but approachable menu - overseen by owners Jamie DeRosa, the Miami chef behind Izzy’s Fish & Oyster and two-time James Beard Award finalist pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith. The modern American cuisine features wild caught fish and seafood, responsibly sourced meats and local produce from nearby farms and fresh homemade pasta. Cocktails come courtesy from Sam Ross of New York City’s Attaboy - regarded as one of the World's 50 Best Bars.
Zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta, sumac and preserved kumquats; skewered Iberico pork with aji amarillo and Japanese pickles; New York strip served with heirloom carrots, eggplant and black sesame béarnaise; branzino with littleneck clams; and a rib cap with romanesco, hen of the woods, and ricotta dumplings in black truffle butter.
