Marabú by Alberto Cabrera

Dishing up countrified, coal-fired Cuban cuisine in Brickell City Centre.

Helmed by Cuban-American chef Alberto Cabrera - previously behind Cuban gastropub Bread + Butter in Coral Gables and Little Havana’s Little Bread and, most recently, the Local Cuban, his outpost at Time Out Market Miami. The restaurant's coal-fired Josper grill cooks up various Cuban grill specialties - inspired from Cuba's countryside eateries and served family-style.

Expect delectable Cuban sandwiches, fried Cuban empanadas alongside large-format meat and vegetable dishes. Paying homage to the island nation's culture and Cabrera's heritage, Marabú boasts a central bar serving Havana-inspired cocktails, as well as an outdoor pergola, drawing inspiration from cities such as Camagüey and Oriente.
