This is the second location of the newly Michelin-starred seafood restaurant from lauded San Francisco chef Joshua Skenes, who's also behind the three-starred Michelin restaurant, Saison. Expect a menu of sustainable meat and seafood cooked over a 32-foot wood-fired hearth. Angler, with its “simple” mission of getting the freshest ingredients and cooking them over open fire, is housed at the Beverly Center. Design features include taxidermy animals lining the walls and live tanks brimming with an array of aquatic life.
Homely dining
Angler reserve caviar warmed over the fire in banana leaves, served with barbecue banana peel butter and grilled banana waffles and Pacific Sheepshead cooked over embers.
