Honeybee's

A sultry and sophisticated saloon, paired with the casual and nostalgic air of down-home barbecue designed to evoke a high-end watering hole in the Wild West.

Restaurant and bar owner Ravi Derossi, a partner in East Village standbys like Ladybird, Death & Co & Amor y Amargo, is firing up the smokers at Honeybee’s, an East Village haunt with a beverage program by Sother Teague (Amor y Amargo) and Southern-inspired (entirely vegan) BBQ by chef Amira Gharib (Boulud Sud, Miami’s Matador Room) - from hushpuppies and spicy guacamole to chicken and waffles and six-layer dip.

Teague’s beverage program is built around a rotating selection of interesting and rare Bourbons and Ryes including classic cocktails - think Manhattans, Old Pals, Juleps, Smashes and, Sours, alongside some playful variations of the Old Fashioned.

The spirit of the American frontier is felt in the 60-seat room - ould’ve been cut straight from the upstairs brothel of a saloon in the old West - with reclaimed wood, plush red and black velvet and antique mirrors filling the space. Open daily, from 5pm to 2am.
