Celebrated restaurateur Jen Pelka has bought her famed Champagne bar to New York City.

More than 150 Champagnes are on offer at the Riddler, an East Coast outpost of the popular San Francisco wine bar, located at Bank Street on a quintessential West Village corner - housing an intimate space featuring a vintage aesthetic by Richard Lewis (Bar Pisellino, Pastis) - think café tables handmade in France, antique serviceware and a raw bar as the focal point surrounded by custom-made banquettes. 

Owner Jen Pelka assembled an all-female slate of investors for her 700-square-foot space. The food menu includes a raw bar, French classics and The Riddler's signature tater tot waffles. Other dishes include an extensive menu of caviar served with potato chips and complimentary popcorn and Ritz chicken - chicken fingers crusted with Ritz crackers. Plus, of course, a Champagne brunch. Open daily from 5pm to midnight.
