Founded by the human-rights lawyer Paul Van Zyl, The Conduit has been designed as a socially focused club that brings together a community of entrepreneurs, innovators, investors and activists from across a diverse range of sectors.
Located on Conduit Street in London's Mayfair, the eight floor neo-classical building houses an events floor, library, rooftop lounge, a restaurant with a terrace and a basement speakeasy. Designed with sustainability and social impact in mind - an intrinsic part of The Conduit’s ethos - the design incorporates a range of innovative, eco-conscious materials and environmentally-conscious techniques.
The Conduit operates a robust membership criteria that asks prospective members' to provide evidence of working in a social enterprise, combined with a means to bring promising, impactful ideas to life. Members' can also expect a year-round programme of events covering themes from education and employment to climate change and sustainability.
