The West Village outpost - at the corner of Hudson and Perry Streets - swaps the original’s Italianate feel and instead takes its cues from Spain’s Basque country. The drinks menu, devised by Mr. Pride and Dante’s creative director, Naren Young, focuses on some of their signature cocktails offered at Greenwich Village’s Dante alongside a variety of spritz and martinis. The small plates menu is heavily influenced by Basque cuisine: roasted cauliflower with crispy garlic, chili oil, and chicken alla diavolo served with three kinds of house made sauces. The vintage décor echoes that of the original, with a tin ceiling and green velvet banquettes with outdoor seating available.
