Vive Maison Mer

Stéphanie and David Le Quellec take their turn overseeing the seafood-focused institution, Rech.

A Parisian landmark since 1925, Adrien Rech first opened his eponymous Art Deco café-restaurant for sampling oysters. In 2007, Alain Ducasse discovered the institution and restored it to its former radiance. Now the historic brasserie will be managed by Stéphanie and David Le Quellec. Expect the seaside character and maritime roots to remain - with a menu that is a homage to the best of coastal France with seafood sourced directly from fishermen around the coast. Highlights include a sea bream ceviche and spiced grilled octopus.

Situated along the vibrant Boulevard Saint-German, and housed in the Maison de l'Amérique Latin - with the dining room opening onto magnificent private French gardens and terrace - which is surely one of the most beautiful in the capital.
