Showcasing flavors from China and Vietnam, the 200-seat Cassia exquisitely expresses its chef’s Southeast Asian heritage. At the stove is Bryant Ng (formerly of The Spice Table) partnered with the esteemed restaurateurs from Rustic Canyon and Milo + Olive. The large beautiful space (with 16 foot high ceilings) in an Art Deco building has the feel of a brasserie with multiple places to sit and eat, including an impressive chilled seafood bar, a wood grill where Bryant features many of the dishes that he became known for at the Spice Table, a cocktail bar and a large sidewalk patio.
The new lunch menu offers midday fare as well as dinnertime favorites. Dive into new dishes like the Vietnamese French dip sandwich; Spice Table-turned-Cassia burger with ground short rib, and topped with shallot mayo, sambal, curry-pickled cucumbers, lettuce, and tomato, with the option to add American or Cheddar cheese; Chinese chicken salad and more.
This is a foodie paradise by-the-sea.
