The chef and owner, Austrian-born Johannes, has been cooking at the restaurant since it opened 30 years ago.
This cottage (surrounded by palm trees and lush plant life) is nestled between Santa Eulalia and Cala Llonga, overlooking the mountains. It celebrates Ibiza's European agrarian history, before its rebranding as a vacation destination. The main dining area itself is very intimate (with a large pavilion ajoined to allow space for larger parties and occasions).
For the food, expect dishes such as, ‘grilled rack of lamb served with rosemary and baked potatoes’, ‘fresh sea bass with fried almonds, butter and potatoes’ and ‘shrimps in hot garlic butter’. There is also an extensive list of wines, champagne, sangrias and coffee liqueurs.
