Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream

New York-based artisanal ice cream maker Van Leeuwen has opened its second brick-and-mortar outlet in Los Angeles.

If you've run after their yellow food trucks for scoops of their delicious ice cream, you’ll be pleased to know that you can now buy their salted caramel or vegan peanut butter chocolate chip without having to chase them down the street.

Their brand new shop in Culver City is their second outpost following the sorefront at the Arts District's One Santa Fe building Downtown. It offers all the Van Leeuwen classics, including chocolate, and Sicilian pistachio, as well as vegan options like banana nut and mint chip.

Then there are rotating specials like honeycomb and vegan cherry with cacao nibs and they are serving up their amazing sundaes like the Continental comprising vanilla ice cream, seasonal fruit compote, fudge, Marcona almonds and whipped cream.

Coffee is by Toby's Estate, organic teas are by Rishi and fresh pastries are coming soon.
