It’s the company’s second outpost after the original award-winning location in Venice and the first in a shopping mall.
Superba’s executive chef James Trees oversees a fresh menu featuring some of the bestsellers from their Venice location. Favorites include red wine beef stew, truffled gnudi and spice-charred roasted chicken with a cheddar biscuit. Executive Pastry Chef Carlos Enriquez meanwhile offers 22 different breakfast pastries including the best selling Bomboloni and next to perfect Kouign Amann. And the hand-selected wine and champagne list has been created by sommelier Henri Marquis, while the full bar complete with craft cocktails comes courtesy of Johan Stein, formerly of Red Medicine.
The 3,500sq ft space is bright and airy and filled with custom-designed features, from the light fixtures to the banquettes and refurbished Kyoto chairs, and a lot of communal tables. The 50-seat patio meanwhile is surrounded by sunshades and Douglas firs.
