There are no waiters at this restaurant. Instead, the chefs interact directly with guests, find out preferences in terms of ingredients, and create custom dishes according to their liking. Inspired by traditional omakase sushi bars, there is now just one $145 tasting that features over twenty courses.
Overseen by chef de cuisine Jonathan Portela (ex-Eleven Madison Park and Junoon in New York) the food offer includes an eclectic selection of locally-sourced meat and fish, vegetables and starches, as well as desserts from pastry chef Margarita Lee.
Located on the second floor of Encino Place shopping center, the intimate 1,000sq ft restaurant space seats just 16 diners around the chefs counter and 14 diners at high tables, all centered around a 12 ft wood-burning oven with an open hearth.
